This environment is kept quiet and structured favoring the independence of the young, and the interactions between them.

The children listen to sounds from the first day, they listen to you when the adult speech and emits sounds, they are absorbed, and then form the basis for constructing their own understanding of language. The same thing happens with the sense of taste, touch, and smell where the children of 18 thirty six months absorbed in the absorbent mind unconscious, then process it to be able to distinguish between temperatures and flavors.
There is a direct relationship between the cognitive and sensory of the child. What the child sees, touches, tastes, hears and smells sends signals to your brain and, therefore, influences your thinking or reasoning. There is a direct relationship between the absorbent mind and the senses. The absorbent mind is dependent on the sensory experiences to develop, that is why it is very important that the environment provides rich stimuli through the senses to nourish the absorbent mind. The richer is the stimulus, the more rich is the food. The sensory environment provides appropriate materials to enhance this food. Materials there are to stimulate all the senses for proper absorption.children from 0 to 3 years to develop their intelligence through their senses. This is because the children here absorb the knowledge of the environment through their senses; senses-visual, tactile, auditory, olfactory, and gustatory. Example, children see and all that you see is absorbed in the absorbent mind to build their personality. Dr. Montessori said: “The things that you not only remember them, but that is part of your soul.”
